Klein Acoustic Guitar

The next generation of Transperformance/Klein Acoustic Guitars nears completion!

Many thanks to Jon Phelps and Jamey Faulkner for their faith and patience during this ongoing project… to further the evolution of the acoustic guitar.

The Transperformance/Klein  is the first self-tuning acoustic guitar! It contains all the features of the electric transperformance models, but placed in a Steve Klein custom guitar. The prototype (very similar to the Klein M-43 Oval hole) was unveiled at the Winter NAMM 2000 show at the Los Angeles Convention Center.  It was a smash hit to the crowd of players who waited patiently to get their hands on it.

“We are way past the prototype.  These guitars will change acoustic guitar music as we know it”.   Steve Klein

Cost for future models starts at $14,500.00

Features:
   • 144 Preset Tunings / 240 User Defined Tunings
   • Special "Capo Mode" that automatically adjusts tuning for capo use up to the 7th fret
   • On-the-fly tuning changes
   • Touch-up tuning and on-screen tuning to touch up and temper tunings exactly to your liking
   • Custom Speed for well-timed, musical tuning changes (bpm and beats for change).
   • Footswitch for on-stage tuning changes.

    “Your Design Rocks!”

The Transperformance/Klein Acoustic guitar is dedicated to the memory of Michael Hedges.

Laurence Juber and Martin Simpson react (in amazement! dismay!) to the Transperformance/Klein Acoustic Guitar.
